Effects of Aluminum Compound in Lung and Liver Tissues of Rat

Abstract

|
This study was performed to investigate the effects of administration of aluminum compound on lung and liver tissued of rats. In AlCl3 administration group, lung tissue showed focal interstitial fibrosis. In Al2(SO4)3 administration group revealed diffuse inflammatory cell infiltrate and thicked alveolar wall with severe hemorrage. Blue-pigmented bronchiole lumen and aluminum accumulation at septal fibrous tissue was noted in administration in group of aluminum compounds by solochrome azurine statin. Diffuse liver cell injury with lobular disarry, necrosis of random, isolated liver cells and small clusters of cells in AlCl3 administration group. Inflammatory inflitrate in portal tract and congestion of vein and dilation of central veins were seen in Al2(SO4)3 administration group. Accmulation of aluminum was seen at dilated central vein noted in AlCl3 administration group and necrotic cluster of cells and reactive hepatocytes in Al2(SO4)3 administration group.
